South Central Regional kicks off 2025 National Cup Regionals

TULSA, Okla. (June 16, 2025) – The South Central Regional, the summer’s first Regional event of the 2025 National Cup tournament series, concluded Monday afternoon after four days of competition at Mohawk Sports Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In total, 17 teams representing 15 clubs were awarded Regional titles and qualification to next month’s National Cup Finals in Denver, Colorado.

The South Central Regional, which featured 93 teams from 29 clubs across seven states in the region, offered a competitive cup-based environment for U-13 through U-19 boys and girls teams. Participants battled tough competition and the elements, enduring multiple rain delays over the weekend. Only two clubs captured more than one division: Oklahoma Celtic (U-13 Girls Super Group and U-15 Girls Super Group) and Sporting Springfield (U-16 Boys Super Group and U-17 Boys). For Sporting Springfield, it was a repeat performance, as the club won the U-16 Boys Super Group bracket last year.
