STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS:
US Club Soccer’s state championship competitions allow clubs to develop a format as they see best in their respective state, which may include multiple competition levels, a home-and-home series, team seeding, as well as flexible schedule and roster rules.
State cups are open to all US Club Soccer-carded teams. Teams that are not currently carded with US Club Soccer can easily do so prior to competing in a state championship competition. The US Club Soccer passcards will be valid for the entire registration year and can be used for other U.S. Soccer-sanctioned events.
HOST A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITION:
Member leagues and clubs conduct US Club Soccer state championship competitions by applying to become the local host. The member groups who are best suited to host state championship competitions are selected to host the event. Tournament formats, entry fees and tournament administration responsibilities are among the items taken into consideration.
