Washington Premier League welcomes US Club Soccer's Eddie Henderson, announces expansion across the Northwest

SEATTLE, Wash. (Aug. 29, 2025) — The Washington Premier League (WPL) is proud to welcome Eddie Henderson, a Regional Board Director on US Club Soccer’s Board of Directors, to the league, who will represent the WPL at national events. This announcement comes as the league continues to expand with the launch of the new Eastern Washington Select League (EWSL) and significant statewide growth in both the WPL and the North Sound Recreational League (NSRL).
 
“I am excited to be part of the WPL,” said Henderson. “As a long-time supporter of US Club Soccer, it’s rewarding to contribute to the growth of the game in this region.”
 
Gabe Rood, Sr. West General Manager of US Club Soccer, added: “The WPL provides a stable and supportive platform for soccer clubs in the Northwest—spanning recreational to premier levels of play.”
 
WPL Executive League Director Ryan Camden also welcomed Danae Hueuett, newly appointed Director of EWSL, praising her leadership and expertise in managing regional leagues.
